What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) by the website you visit. It is used to recognise your browser, remember your preferences and ensure that services work correctly.
This policy also covers other equivalent trackers (local storage, session storage, pixels, session identifiers) placed or read while you browse Yuimaru.
Legal basis and consent principle
In accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and CNIL guidelines (transposing the ePrivacy Directive), storing or reading non-essential cookies is subject to your prior, free, informed and unambiguous consent.
Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the platform (authentication, security, language preferences) are exempt from consent under applicable regulations.

The first time you visit Yuimaru, a banner informs you of the use of cookies and allows you to:

Your choice is kept for a maximum of 6 months. After that period, you will be asked to consent again. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the 'Manage cookies' link in the footer.

Yuimaru relies on a limited number of technical providers that may place cookies (hosting, authentication, transactional emails). These providers are contractually bound to comply with the GDPR and do not perform profiling for advertising purposes.
No advertising, social network or ad-network cookies are placed on Yuimaru without your explicit consent.
